We’re going in chronological order, so first up: the basic theme. It’s a lot like them- starts out simple and lovely, and then grows into something bigger and awesome that you just want to wrap yourself up in and live in forever.

Day 21 - Favorite ship
Bill Adama & Laura Roslin, Battlestar Galactica
It’s a strange experience—you’re watching a show with sexy robots and young hotshot pilots, and one day, out of nowhere, you discover that you care about the old people.
And you should, because if you missed the point of Adama and Roslin, then you’ve missed the point of the entire series. Their romance is exceptional, encompassing the major themes of life, death, fate, faith, loss, redemption, communion and home that weave through the entire BSG narrative. A/R is about love and hope—so much that I nearly cried making this ridiculous picspam—and I can’t imagine another pairing ever matching the heartbreaking depth that was achieved with these two.
Oh, and they have their own theme song.
This is a video of the Battlestar Galactica cast not knowing who the fuck Bear McCreary is. It includes Jamie Bamber switching back and forth from his normal voice to his Apollo voice, and Jamie and Katee (separately) being like OH THE DRUMS ILTHEDRUMS. And there is swearing. I love these people.
